Just the other night, I decide to satiate my culinary side and bake the best cake ever. I travel to my local grocery store, purchase all the ingredients, and hustle back to my kitchen to make history. As luck would have it, I purchase every necessary ingredient. Except for the eggs

Unfortunately for me, I don’t live at The Aspen where there is a convenience store right in the lobby. Juice, eggs, wine, laundry detergent and dry cleaning services are all one, short elevator ride away. If you ever need anything in a jiffy, run down to the lobby and take advantage of one of our best amenities.

People aren’t so bad After All!!!!!

Every once in a while, we are lucky enough to get a very brief break from the hectic, ridiculosity (this is actually a word) that is life. We employ these brief moments of clarity where the dust settles, and we can pay homage to the world for its delicate, tranquil contributions.

And sometimes, WE JUST WANT TO SEE SOMETHING EXPLODE!!!!!!!!!!!

I came across this very strange YouTube video that I think you all might enjoy. It features a host of seemingly impossible stunts, some death defying acts and a few head scratching feats.

This video almost gives me the impression that the human race’s greatest gifts to the world were more than just David Hasselhoff, Honey Nut Cheerios and Reality television…… But that’s just not true!

Maybe there is hope for us yet…. ENJOY!

*Sigh* Seems like only Yesterday

As we sit here in the office watching the trees outside sway back and forth from the bitter onslaught of the blustery winter wind, we reminisce of a simpler time. We think back to when the Sun didn’t go missing for weeks at a time. We revel in the memories of drinking a soda outside without it freezing halfway down your esophagus. We miss how the mosquitoes…………………….. Well, maybe not them so much.

No matter how you slice it, layers are for cakes and lasagnas, chilly should only be a tasty bean dish and freezing is for computers and fudgesickles . Needless to say, old man winter has overstayed his welcome.

As overly dramatic and sarcastic as that intro may be, we welcome you to the new Aspen Blog *applause*
